STANLIB Namibia (Pty) Ltd was established in 1993 as a joint venture between Standard Bank Namibia and STANLIB South Africa, to provide investment management services to Namibian institutional, corporate and retail clients.

STANLIB is a multi-specialist asset manager that connects retail and institutional clients with multiple investment opportunities across asset classes and markets.

We believe in multi-specialist investing to achieve extraordinary results.

Our funds include:

  • The Standard Bank Namibia Money Market Fund, a collective investment scheme that aims to maximise income while preserving capital over the medium term, ensuring liquidity of funds invested.
  • The Standard Bank Namibia CashPlus Fund is designed for clients who traditionally hold large cash balances, but whose funds need to remain liquid for operational reasons.
  • The Standard Bank Namibia Income Fund, a medium-term collective investment scheme invested in a diversified spread of fixed income securities that aim to generate income and long-term capital growth with conservative investment risk.
  • The Standard Bank Namibia InflationPlus Fund provides long-term capital growth and enhanced short-term income by investing in a combination of asset classes.
  • The Standard Bank Namibia Flexible Property Income Fund provides capital growth through investment in Namibian and South African listed property shares, debentures, debenture stocks and debenture bonds.
  • Standard Bank Namibia Managed Fund is a prudential fund that seeks to generate long-term capital growth with rising levels of income.

Our clients are mainly institutional and corporate investors with short-term cash management and medium- to long-term investment needs. Our retail clients comprise individual investors, high-net-worth individuals, clubs, small business associations, and community cooperatives.

In an increasingly dynamic and interconnected world, our understanding of the complex connections of markets, industries, sectors and global events gives us a competitive edge to adapt to the environment, and make more informed investment decisions that lead to better investment outcomes.

STANLIB manages and administers R600 billion (USD 42 billion) (as at 31 December 2018) assets for more than 500,000 retail and institutional clients. We operate in eight African countries and in key developed markets globally.
